Community Tips & Reports

The following tips were submitted by individuals in the fastpitch community. We publish only what can be reasonably verified. If you believe any information is inaccurate, please submit a correction using the form linked below.

Tip #1

At least include his mugshot, here is one.

Charlie Esparza Mugshot

Tip #2

Guy kept forcing us to fundraise. We don't know where the money is going without an accounting. Now he's adding tons of players to our team impacting playing time without a reduction in dues. So he makes more money while our girls get less playing time.

Tip #3

discovered he snapchats young players and tells them things about being pretty its gross. why does an adult man use snapchat thats known for auto deleting messages and communicate with young players like that? someone share with us why an adult man would text a girl that and do this versus just a text? appears so itll be auto deleted. ask to see his snapchats so he can tell you they autodeleted

Tip #4

People like him should never coach, guide, or be involved in youth sports.

Tip #5

I google searched facebook charlie daniel esparza theft (click here to see)

Tip #6

When Charlie was arrested for shoplifting, he had some incredibly elaborate story about how it happened. he claimed that he had just bought a truck (and he had) from a guy that did some type of detailing (i remember the detailing stickers and phone number) and that the prior owner must have been caught stealing or something. He claimed he was arrested because the prior owner was a shoplifter and he would clear it up. I was dumb enough to believe it. What makes Charlie a good liar is that he is willing to lie about things that no one would ever expect someone to lie about. Of course, his big story turned out to be a lie like everything else. This guy is unfit for society and he preys on the unsuspecting. And then the people caught holding the bag there have a tough time accepting that they were deceived so they hang around. But they'll figure it out with the passage of time.

Tip #7

Has inappropriate relationships with mom's of players. The fundraising is a joke, anytime we ask where the money is going the question is never answered. And we never see new equipment with the teams so we never know where the money is going. However you will see his "favorite" players getting custom gloves that he claims were donated. Be aware you are probably getting no benefit of your fundraising.

And beware of all the traveling his teams do. If you're not in the top 11 or 12 players, you're just there to pay the bills. He will have you travel all over this country and your kid will never play. And he'll give you some story about development and trust the process, don't believe it, find another organization.

You cannot believe a word he says because everything is a lie.

PRO TIP: you can always tell which moms he's banging by how vocal they get on social media.
